Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Water Hygiene Plumber for the Gloucester area to support our Environment & Safety division. You will help deliver water hygiene monitoring services, work independently and as part of a team, and apply industry standards to ensure safe, compliant water systems.

The role requires a proactive, reliable professional with a background in water hygiene services and knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised NVQ/C&G plumbing qualification and have knowledge of Legionella Control (L8) and HSG274.
• Valid Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to follow set methods and procedures.
• IT literacy with handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing remedial work
• Clean and chlorination of tanks
• Chlorination of water systems
• TMV servicing including full servicing and fail-safe testing
• Calorifier inspections
• RPZ servicing

Skills

Full UK driving licence

Ability to follow set methods and 0ro?

Education

NVQ/C&G plumbing qualification
