Job description

Job Title: Water Hygiene Plumber

We are seeking a Water Hygiene Plumber to support planned plumbing and servicing works within their designated area.

Main Duties

• Perform planned plumbing and maintenance works on hot and cold water systems, including refurbishing water storage tanks, replacing hot water cylinders, modifying pipework, and conducting cleaning & disinfection.
• Operate in compliance with Water Regulations, HSG274, and ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and the head office.
• Maintain accurate on-site records as per the scope of works.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving license. The role involves water hygiene management and ensuring compliance with all PPM contract requirements across assigned sites. Full training will be provided. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with possible early starts, overtime, and some weekend work.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed, you should be:

• Motivated and diligent, committed to understanding and implementing statutory requirements within ACOP L8, HSG 274, and HCM 04/01 (training provided).
• Customer-focused with high standards of professionalism and service.

Skills and Personal Attributes

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/Technical Certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Water Regulations.
• Unvented Hot Water (G3) certification.
• Good time management and problem-solving skills.
