Job summary

212 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer/Technician to join our client’s busy team on a permanent basis. The role primarily covers the West Midlands and reports to the Service Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities include logbook/admin tasks, routine monitoring to ACoP L8, sampling, TMV servicing, disinfection of outlets, and site inspections. DBS check and full UK driving licence are essential; strong communication and problem solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.
• Excellent communication & problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete admin tasks to log work (tablet provided).
• Routine monitoring in line with ACoP L8.
• Collection of water samples from customer premises.
• Low use outlet flushing.
• Clean/descale shower heads/taps.
• Take water temperatures from various outlets.
• Inspect water tanks.
• Conduct analysis from closed water systems.
• Thermostatic mixing valve servicing (TMV).
• Localised disinfection of outlets.
