Job summary

Future Select Recruitment seeks a Water Hygiene Engineer to service client sites across Derby and surrounding areas. You will perform water sampling, tank cleans, disinfections, and closed system checks as part of planned compliance tasks.

Ideal candidates will have proven water hygiene experience, knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274, and the ability to work independently on site. Training and benefits accompany a competitive salary in a varied Midlands role.

Responsibilities

• Update site logbooks and maintain compliance records.

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Derby, East Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £36k DOE + Training & Benefits

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable Water Hygiene Company with a busy presence in the Midlands. They are seeking a knowledgeable Water Hygiene Engineer who can hit the ground running. You will be responsible for undertaking water sampling, tank cleans and disinfections, sampling from closed systems and calorifier blowdowns, in addition to other pre-planned compliance tasks. The ideal candidate will be confident in working independently, to set personal deadlines. Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Strong understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Able to use IT software
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Able to work independently on site
• Worked on a range of client sites, including: commercial, public sector and local authority
