Randstad CPE is seeking a dedicated PPM Water Hygiene Engineer to cover North West England and Midlands. You will perform Legionella risk assessments, water sampling, and deliver actionable recommendations to ensure health and safety compliance.

Candidates must have L8 certification and a valid UK driving license. The role offers a company van or car allowance, plus benefits including pension, sick pay, life assurance, health cash plan and a company card for expenses.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out temperature monitoring and water sampling for legionella, TVCs, E. coli, coliforms, free chlorine, and contamination.
• Perform showerhead cleaning, descaling, TMV servicing, storage tank cleaning and chlorination, plus closed system sampling and dosing.
• Identify risk areas and provide clear recommendations to mitigate risk and support clients’ water hygiene programs.

As a water hygiene engineer you will play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will travel to diverse client sites to perform detailed legionella risk assessments, carry out essential water sampling, and deliver actionable recommendations to ensure systems meet all health and safety requirements.

• Location: North West, East Midlands, West Midlands
• Salary: £32,000 - £38,000

Package

• 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform showerhead cleaning and descaling, TMV servicing, cold water storage tank cleaning and chlorination, as well as closed system sampling, analysis, and chemical dosing.
• Identify potential risk areas, present clear recommendations for mitigation, and support clients in implementing effective water hygiene programs.

What We Are Looking For

• L8 Certification
• Holds a valid Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven background within the water hygiene industry
• Excellent communication skills with a flexible approach to travel and working hours (including occasional weekend or out-of-hours shifts).
