Randstad CPE is partnering with a leading UK compliance specialist to recruit a dedicated PPM Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team across North West England and Midlands.

You will travel to client sites to perform legionella risk assessments, water sampling, and deliver recommendations to ensure health and safety compliance. L8 certification and a full UK driving licence are required, with a flexible approach to travel and occasional out-of-hours work.

Qualificações

• Excellent communication skills and flexible travel availability.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• L8 Certification is required.
• Experience in the water hygiene industry is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out temperature monitoring and water sampling for legionella, TVCs, E. coli, coliforms, free chlorine, and microbial contamination.
• Perform showerhead cleaning and descaling, TMV servicing, cold water storage tank cleaning and chlorination, as well as closed system sampling, analysis, and chemical dosing.
• Identify potential risk areas, present clear recommendations for mitigation, and support clients in implementing effective water hygiene programs.

Holding a nationwide presence with multiple offices across the UK and an excellent reputation for delivering a first‑class, quality‑focused service, our client is expanding rapidly following major recent contract wins.

As a water hygiene engineer you will play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will travel to diverse client sites to perform detailed legionella risk assessments, carry out essential water sampling, and deliver actionable recommendations to ensure systems meet all health and safety requirements.

Location: North West, East Midlands, West Midlands

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000

• 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays.

What We Are Looking For

• L8 Certification
• Holds a valid Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven background within the water hygiene industry
• Excellent communication skills with a flexible approach to travel and working hours (including occasional weekend or out-of-hours shifts).
