Job summary

Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting a Business Development Executive (Water Hygiene) in Thornbury. The role includes building strong customer relationships, generating new business and developing industry knowledge, with close work alongside the Head of Sales.

You will manage enquiries, quotations and CRM records, and seek opportunities for contract renewals while learning legionella and water hygiene compliance to support growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience.
• Proven track record of generating and converting new business.
• Excellent administration and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• High-level IT skills, particularly across Microsoft Office 365.
• Post-16 qualification essential.
• Degree desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue and proactively follow up on customer quotations.
• Manage sales processes accurately and efficiently from enquiry through to conversion.
• Generate new business opportunities and contribute towards sales growth.
• Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Handle new and existing customer enquiries professionally.
• Support contract renewals and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Learn and apply the fundamentals of legionella control and water hygiene compliance.
• Communicate technical information clearly and confidently to customers.
• Maintain accurate sales administration and CRM records.
• Balance day-to-day sales administration with proactive business development activity.
