Oyster Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Mains Layer to install and commission water and gas connections on live pipelines. You will prepare RAMS, work with contractors, and operate site machinery, ensuring safety on sensitive sites and public highways.

Applicants should have gas or water utility experience, pipework installation expertise, CSCS card, and a valid driving licence, with RAMS knowledge and a strong safety focus across projects.

Qualifikationen

• Gas or water utility experience required.
• Experience installing extensive pipework on infrastructure/building sites.

Aufgaben

• Carry out hands-on installation, testing and commissioning of water and gas connections onto live pipelines.
• Prepare and review RAMS before work begins.
• Work closely with colleagues and external contractors.
• Safely operate site machinery and equipment such as excavators and winches.
• Adapt to changing project requirements to ensure success.
