Overview

Water Field Technician

Field based: You should be based in the Croydon area and be willing to cover a local patch (South West London - Croydon, Epsom, Kingston upon Thames, Twickenham).

£33K (pro rata) plus Vehicle and on call allowance

8.30-5 Mon-Fri plus one in four on call rota

6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you an experienced water industry professional, looking to work for a large, growing utilities group, in a role offering training, long term career development and salary progression.

The role is field based covering a regional patch. There are opportunities to increase earnings through the on call rota and a vehicle is provided.

The role will be to undertake routine maintenance, undertake drinking water samples and deal with any unplanned issues.

The Role

1. Full time 6 month fixed term contract role with possible extension/permanency
2. Home/field based customer facing role
3. Undertake basic asset management tasks, such as; meter exchanges, customer queries and crossed meters.
4. Effectively manage work schedule

The Person

1. Experience of working in the water industry
2. Experience of dealing with customers
3. Knowledge of health and safety standards
4. Any of the following tickets; Water Hygiene, SHEA Water, CSCS
5. UK driving licence
