Job summary

NWG (Northumbrian Water Group) in Chelmsford, Essex, is seeking a Water Efficiency Analyst to help shape a more sustainable future. You will deliver water efficiency strategy, support household retrofit schemes, and work with partners to drive engagement.

Reporting to the Water Efficiency Manager, you\'ll manage projects from planning to completion, analyse data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform investments and programme design.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Water Efficiency Analyst to join our Water Efficiency team and help shape a more sustainable future. Reporting to the Water Efficiency Manager, you will play an important role in delivering our water efficiency strategy, helping customers make the most of this precious resource while supporting environmental sustainability.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines project management, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and customer insight. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, as well as external partners and contractors, to develop and deliver innovative water efficiency initiatives that make a real difference to customers, communities, and the environment.

You'll take ownership of projects from initial planning through to completion, coordinating activities, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes. Using data and research, you'll identify trends, measure success, and provide valuable insights that help shape future programmes and investment decisions. A key part of the role will involve supporting and evaluating household water efficiency retrofit schemes, understanding customer behaviours and identifying opportunities to improve engagement and participation.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience and is motivated by making a positive difference through their work. This role has also been defined as a safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you’ll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test.
