Job summary

Tec Partners Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Electrical / ICA Commissioning Engineer to join a project team delivering clean and wastewater projects.

You will plan, manage and deliver installation and commissioning activities, working with project, construction and operations teams, with travel to project sites including overnight stays. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience within the water industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Willing to travel to project sites, including overnight stays.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven commissioning and fault-finding experience.
• Experience with PLCs, control panels and communication systems.
• Strong electrical, instrumentation and ICA experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Desirable: SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS Supervisor Card.

Responsibilities

• Develop commissioning plans, procedures and documentation.
• Lead and supervise onsite installation and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate works, outages and commissioning with site and operations teams.
• Commission and troubleshoot PLCs, control panels, instrumentation and communication systems.
• Work with contractors on fault finding, configuration and testing.
• Review electrical, instrumentation and control drawings and specifications.
• Lead commissioning meetings and coordinate site activities.
• Support projects through installation, commissioning and final handover.
