Job summary

Roc Search GmbH is seeking an experienced EC&I Engineer to join a UK-based team delivering water and wastewater treatment projects. The role covers electrical, instrumentation, control and automation across design, procurement, testing, installation and commissioning.

You will work between office and project sites with travel as needed. Strong UK water-industry experience and knowledge of BS7671 are essential.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
UK water industry experience is essential.
Strong understanding of EICA in water or wastewater environments.
Working knowledge of wiring regulations (BS7671).
Good understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, control and automation.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for EICA elements of water treatment projects.
Procurement support for MCCs, switchgear, cabling, instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Produce load schedules, instrument schedules and equipment specifications.
Develop URS following process design consultation.
Review subcontractor drawings against project requirements.
Attend FATs for switchboards, MCCs and PLC/HMI software.
Carry out inspections and testing of electrical equipment.
Provide technical EICA support to tendering activities.
Monitor EICA activities against budgets and programmes.
