Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead design and delivery of large-scale water and wastewater projects in the UK.

You will drive design management, schedule governance, risk mitigation and cost forecasting while promoting innovation and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasises stakeholder engagement, Build-from-first-principles thinking and autonomous leadership within a hybrid working model, enabling delivery across diverse UK

Qualifications

• Experience leading design and project management of large-scale infrastructure programmes.
• Ability to operate autonomously across complex projects with authority.
• Strong track record in stakeholder engagement and client management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design management for water and wastewater schemes from concept to delivery.
• Manage scheduling, risk, change control and cost forecasting within design teams.
• Drive value engineering, buildability and innovation in delivery models.
• Mentor engineers and project teams and develop delivery strategies.
• Maintain effective client relationships and contribute to business growth.
