Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Smart Meter Reporting and Data Analyst to turn complex meter data into actionable insights, drive water efficiency, and support the Smart Metering rollout. You will own end-to-end reporting for household and non-household properties, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role collaborates with Insights and data teams, delivers agile, ad-hoc analysis, and identifies improvements to increase efficiency across the business.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O-Level Grade A–C (or equivalent) literacy and numeracy demonstrated or evidence in similar role.
• Analytical ability to analyse large datasets and extract actionable insights for water efficiency.
• Proactive approach to improving processes and reporting techniques.
• Effective communication to translate data conclusions into recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse comprehensive datasets for household and non-household customers to provide actionable insights that drive water efficiency and demand reduction.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to monitor team performance and support strategic planning.
• Present data-driven recommendations to influence interventions and shape long-term strategy.
• Collaborate with Insights and data teams to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of the customer journey.
• Ensure reporting and activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Engage stakeholders with commercial awareness to support the Smart Metering project.
