AMB Recruitment Group is seeking a Contracts Manager - Water to oversee a portfolio of water sector schemes across North London, Essex and East Anglia. The role focuses on delivering safe, compliant projects on time and within budget, with support for senior staff and a path to step up in responsibility.

You'll manage multiple contracts, lead planning with estimating, and drive site teams while maintaining NEC/CDM/SHEQ standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects in the water sector, ideally on clean water assets.
• Experience as a Contracts Manager, or as a Senior Project Manager ready to step up.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, CDM and SHEQ procedures.
• Strong planning, financial and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple water sector contracts to hit financial, safety, quality and environmental targets.
• Lead pre-contract planning with the estimating team, then plan, programme and resource contracts.
• Lead and develop engineers, supervisors and site teams.
• Accept, approve and issue contracts and subcontracts, and give technical and contractual advice.
• Liaise and negotiate with clients, consulting engineers and subcontractors.
• Budget, monitor and control contract finances, including claims, variations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Ensure H&S and management system procedures are followed on every contract.
