Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil engineering projects in the water sector.
• Work with project managers and engineers to understand specifications and requirements.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and documentation to prepare quotations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and clients.
• Evaluate and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
• Monitor costs to ensure adherence to budgets and estimates.
• Provide regular reports on estimate status to senior management.
