Kier Group is seeking a CAD Technician to join the Kier Design team on nationwide water sector projects. The role focuses on delivering accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design excellence across water and wastewater schemes.

Ideal candidates will have ONC/HNC in mechanical or process engineering and experience with Revit, Navisworks, ACC, or similar tools, plus knowledge of UK water frameworks and WIMES standards.

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC in mechanical or process engineering.
• Experience using Revit, Navisworks, ACC, or similar digital design tools.
• Knowledge of UK water company frameworks and WIMES standards.

Responsabilités

• Producing and updating 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models using REVIT, Civils 3D and Navisworks.
• Translating equipment details into 3D models and creating working drawings including P&ID diagrams and pipework layouts.
• Liaising with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure designs align and integrate correctly.
• Participating in design coordination meetings and supporting clash detection reviews.
• Communicating with site teams to resolve design queries and support constructability reviews.
