Job summary

Nomadic Watches is seeking a Quality Control & Production Technician in Belfast to manage the quality and physical flow of components through the workshop, from receiving parts to final inspection of watches.

Full training will be provided; no prior watchmaking experience required. You will ensure every watch meets Nomadic's quality standards and support continuous improvement across production.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality, production or detail-focused environment desirable.
• Previous watchmaking experience not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent final cosmetic and functional inspection of completed watches.
• Identify defects including scratches, marks, dust/FOD, alignment and assembly issues.
• Conduct water resistance testing using approved procedures.
• Approve watches for release or provide feedback to Watchmakers for rework.
• Maintain accurate inspection and defect records.
• Apply company's quality standards consistently and objectively.
• Receive and process all incoming component deliveries and inspect against specifications.
• Identify shortages or quality issues before they impact production.
• Prepare complete production kits in line with the Workshop schedule.
• Support stock counts and inventory accuracy.
