Watch Repair UK is a growing independent specialist watch repair business based at Roots Farm, Dunsop Bridge, near Clitheroe. The role involves bench work, servicing mechanical and quartz movements to a high standard, with a focus on precision and pride in small details.

This is a full-time, on-site position at Roots Farm, Dunsop Bridge. Salary ranges from £35,000 to £40,000 per year, depending on experience and skills. Monday-to-Friday working hours in a well-equipped workshop.

• Proven bench experience servicing mechanical watch movements (manual and automatic).
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical, tidy approach to work.
• Ability to work well as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Full servicing of mechanical movements (manual and automatic), including chronographs.
• Fault diagnosis, estimates and repair of mechanical and quartz watches.
• Replacement of worn or damaged movement parts.
• Timing, regulation and final testing.
• Case resealing, pressure testing and quality control of completed work.
• Keeping accurate workshop records at each stage of a repair.

Watch Repair UK is a growing independent specialist watch repair business based at Roots Farm, Dunsop Bridge, near Clitheroe.

We are looking for a qualified, experienced Watchmaker to join our workshop. This is a bench role for someone who services and repairs mechanical and quartz movements to a high standard, and takes pride in getting the small things right.

£35,000-£40,000 per year, depending on experience and skills.

Key responsibilities

• Full servicing of mechanical movements (manual and automatic), including chronographs
• Fault diagnosis, estimates and repair of mechanical and quartz watches
• Replacement of worn or damaged movement parts
• Timing, regulation and final testing
• Case resealing, pressure testing and quality control of completed work
• Keeping accurate workshop records at each stage of a repair

What we are looking for

• Proven bench experience servicing mechanical watch movements
• A recognised watchmaking qualification (BHI, WOSTEP or equivalent), or equivalent proven experience
• A careful, methodical and tidy way of working, with strong attention to detail
• Reliable and happy working as part of a small team

Experience with luxury brands, chronograph calibres or vintage movements would be useful, but is not essential.
