Severn Trent is hiring for a Waste Water Process Operator to safely operate and maintain equipment at our Sewage Treatment works and Pumping Stations in the Leicestershire area. You will protect the environment and deliver essential services, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in Wastewater Treatment, Sludge Treatment or Sewage Pumping Stations is welcome but not essential.
• Positive outlook and ability to work on own initiative or in a team.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training as part of development.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a diverse range of wastewater equipment at treatment works and pumping stations.
• Ensure sites and assets are operated safely, efficiently and in compliance with policies.
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call rota and cover standby shifts as required.
• Contribute to improvements and problem-solving to optimise treatment processes.
