Job summary

GAP Group is seeking an Environmental Treatment Engineer to service and repair wastewater treatment equipment across the GAP fleet. The role focuses on troubleshooting, routine maintenance, safety checks, and pre-/post-hire inspections, with a workshop base and occasional customer-site visits.

Ideal candidates have wastewater treatment experience and knowledge of treatment equipment; a driving licence is essential, with CITB/NVQ a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within waste water treatment is essential.
• Sound knowledge of water treatment equipment; product training will be provided.
• CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot wastewater treatment systems.
• Carry out routine service and maintenance of equipment; safety checks and pre-/post-hire inspections.
• Attend customer sites as required; role is workshop-based predominantly.
