Job summary

GAP Hire Solutions is seeking an Environmental Treatment Engineer to service, maintain and repair water treatment equipment for the GAP fleet. The role involves troubleshooting systems and performing routine checks to ensure equipment is ready for hire.

The position is predominantly workshop-based with occasional visits to customer sites. The ideal candidate will have proven wastewater treatment experience, a current driving licence, and may hold a CITB/NVQ qualification.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within waste water treatment is essential.
• Sound knowledge of water treatment equipment is desirable; training provided.
• CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot water treatment systems.
• Carry out routine service and maintenance of equipment, including safety checks and inspections.
• Perform pre- and post-hire inspections.
• Role predominantly workshop-based with occasional customer-site attendance.
