Southern Water is seeking a WW Process Operator to join frontline operations in Kent. The role involves ensuring wastewater treatment works and pumping stations run smoothly, supporting compliance, and delivering high service to customers.

You will perform maintenance, testing, sampling, and data reporting while working outdoors across multiple sites. A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential for this 38-hour-per-week permanent position.

Qualifications

• Essential UK manual driving licence.
• Desirable experience in wastewater operations or similar process industries.
• Willingness to travel across multiple sites and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Compliance testing and monitoring.
• Maintenance tasks including unblocking pumps, screens, and valves.
• Repair of alarm systems and fault resolution.
• Monitoring, collating, and reporting data for regulatory compliance.
• Carrying out regular sampling and maintaining sampling equipment.
• Receiving and handling chemical deliveries safely.
• Using IT systems to log maintenance tasks and ensure safety compliance.
