Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking a Process Controller to oversee the operation of Beddington and Hogsmill wastewater treatment works in Kingston upon Thames. You will monitor SCADA systems, respond to faults and emergencies, and ensure safe, compliant operations on a 12-hour rotating shift.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with process and Wastewater treatment
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
• Basic literacy, numeracy and computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of Beddington STW and Hogsmill STW via SCADA
• Monitor inlet flows, storm discharge, ammonia, digestion, CHP generation
• Fault finding and emergency response to stabilise processes
• Complete shift logs and comply with operational standards
• Maintain health and safety on site and raise safety observations
• Liaise with Process Scientist, Maintenance and contractors
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and procedures
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am) and cover shifts as required
