Job summary

Thames Water is recruiting a Process Controller for Beddington STW in London. You will monitor and control wastewater treatment processes, respond to incidents, and work across sites at Beddington and Hogsmill. The role requires hands-on, safety-conscious operatives, comfortable with 12-hour rotating shifts and SCADA systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in process and waste treatment operations.
• Hands-on and practical with impeccable attention to detail.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts and cover shifts as required by TW shift agreement.

Responsibilities

• Remote monitoring and control of wastewater treatment processes via SCADA.
• Fault finding and intervention to maintain the treatment process.
• Respond to emergencies and stabilise/mitigate issues.
• Complete shift logs and documentation.
• Maintain Health and Safety on site and raise safety observations.
• Liaise with Process Scientist, Maintenance, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Keep technical knowledge up to date.
