Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Process Controller for Beddington STW and Hogsmill STW in Kingston upon Thames. You will remotely monitor and control wastewater treatment processes via SCADA, respond to emergencies, and maintain health and safety on site.

You will liaise with Process Scientist, Maintenance and contractors, keeping procedures and asset standards up to date. A challenging, varied role with 38-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in process and wastewater treatment
• Hands-on, practical with troubleshooting skills.
• Important attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Responsibilities

• Remote monitoring and control of wastewater treatment processes via SCADA.
• Fault finding and intervention to maintain the treatment process; respond to emergencies.
• Complete shift logs and other operational documentation.
• Maintain health and safety on site and highlight safety observations.
• Liaise with Process Scientist, Maintenance, contractors and stakeholders.
