Job summary

Mott MacDonald is hiring for a UK & Europe-wide Wastewater Network Modelling role within their Water Utilities Division. You will develop and calibrate catchment models using InfoWorks ICM, leveraging GIS data and automation tools to support wastewater projects for major water companies.

You will work in a hybrid setup with national scope, collaborating with senior specialists to deliver resilient and environmentally beneficial water infrastructure across the UK.

Qualifications

• Essential: good working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM and GIS
• Relevant degree qualification
• Experience on Wastewater Networks Projects
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good communicator able to present and discuss technically in reports and meetings
• Desirable: familiarity with FME, Power BI and programming in Ruby, VBA or Python
• Experience in the UK Water Sector

Responsibilities

• Undertake model build and calibration/verification of catchment models in InfoWorks ICM
• Model options to resolve sewer flooding and sewer overflow needs in InfoWorks ICM
• Use GIS to extract relevant data and create basic drawings for surveys
• Review survey data for completeness and consistency
• Prepare emails, reports and presentations
