Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join its expanding water and wastewater team in Manchester on a permanent basis. You will support delivery of modeling projects for water companies, authorities, developers and other clients, developing computer models to investigate network issues and investment needs.

The role requires experience in wastewater modelling, knowledge of InfoWorks ICM/CS and GIS tools (ArcGIS/MapInfo), plus strong data analysis and report writing

Qualifications

• Wastewater hydraulic modelling experience in networks and urban drainage.
• Ability to analyse data and produce technical reports.
• Understanding of UK water industry regulation and professional standards.
• Experience with model build, calibration and verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop computer models to investigate wastewater network issues and flooding risks
• Analyse hydraulic and environmental data to support feasibility studies and solutions
• Build, calibrate and verify wastewater network models
• Prepare technical reports and project deliverables with clear findings
• Undertake site visits and liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Support tender responses and continuous improvement at senior levels
