Job summary

Hydro International, a CRH Company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team in Nottingham. You will install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites, and perform site inspections and survey reporting for quotations.

The ideal candidate holds a City & Guilds qualification and has completed a recognised mechanical apprenticeship; a valid driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license required.
• City & Guilds qualification.
• Completed recognised mechanical apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
• Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
• Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and outdoors on wastewater sites.
• Occasionally travel for site work and stay away from home when required.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to execute projects.
