Job summary

Hydro International (UK) Ltd, part of CRH, is seeking an Electrician to join the UKWWS team in Nottingham. You will install, commission and test water filtration systems on sewage sites across the United Kingdom and work away from home as required.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, 18th Edition wiring regulations and a JIB Gold Card, with a valid driving license. Overtime and subsistence benefits are provided.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations and 18th Edition are required.
JIB Gold Card holder preferred.
Clean driving license required.

Responsibilities

Install, commission and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports.
Access technical instructions using mobile equipment.
Work at heights, in confined spaces and outdoors on sewage sites.
Occasional overnight stays and travel across the UK.
Collaborate with the UKWWS team.

The Electrician will be working within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. We support water utility companies working on sewage sites across the United Kingdom.

About the Job

You will be Installing, commissioning, setting up and testing water filtration systems on sewage sites
You will carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes
You will be required to access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment
You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage)
You will be required to work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
You may also be required to work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion
You will be working as a team with other staff and trades within the business
