Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is seeking a Discovery Technician to join our specialist Survey & Discovery team. You will investigate drainage systems and wastewater assets, gather evidence, identify defects, and support future rehabilitation and capital delivery projects across the Sussex and Hampshire region.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage, wastewater, utilities, construction, or similar operational environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable using digital devices and recording systems, or willingness to learn.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and delivering accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Investigate drainage systems and wastewater assets; gather evidence and identify defects.
• Perform CCTV drainage investigations and drainage surveys.
• Map networks and conduct flood investigations to inform asset management.
• Provide findings to support rehabilitation and capital delivery projects.
• Work across Sussex and Hampshire sites and contribute to environmental improvements.
