Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is seeking a Discovery Technician to join our specialist Survey & Discovery team. You will investigate drainage systems and wastewater assets, gather evidence, identify defects, and support future rehabilitation and capital delivery projects across the Sussex and Hampshire region.

We are looking for a Discovery Technician to join Cappagh Browne Utilities' specialist Survey & Discovery team, helping to improve the performance of the wastewater network while contributing to environmental improvements across the region.
As a Discovery Technician, you will play a key role in investigating drainage systems and wastewater assets, gathering evidence, identifying defects, and uncovering opportunities for future rehabilitation and capital delivery projects. Working across the wastewater network, you will carry out structured investigations including visual flow monitoring, drainage surveys, CCTV inspections, network mapping, and flood investigations. Your findings will directly support initiatives that reduce environmental impact, improve network resilience, and enhance the service delivered to customers and communities. Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is a special purpose joint venture established to deliver wastewater network maintenance and repair services for Southern Water across the South of England. We focus on keeping sewer networks operating efficiently through planned maintenance, emergency response and rehabilitation works. Our capability is underpinned by a substantial fleet of specialist vehicles including vacuum tankers, jetting units and CCTV survey equipment, supported by advanced technology for rapid diagnostics and effective solutions.
