Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking a Site Chemist for our Burscough site. You will perform laboratory and field analyses, ensuring safe treatment and compliant waste handling, while supporting customer service and data recording. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and regulatory adherence.

Applicants should have an HNC (or equivalent), be comfortable working outdoors, and possess proven experience in managing a mixed-ability team in a demanding environment. MS Office proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• You must have an HNC ( or equivalent) for this role.
• Outdoor working will be required in all weathers.
• Continued support and ongoing training.
• Relevant professional experience, including managing a mixed skills team in a busy demanding environment.
• Computer literate/using MS Office applications.
