Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for a Waste & Resource Recovery Supervisor at a West Sussex site on a 16-week temporary contract with an immediate start. The role focuses on monitoring waste streams, improving segregation, and driving recycling opportunities to support sustainability goals.

You'll work with production, engineering and hygiene teams to promote best practices, ensure compliance, and contribute to ongoing environmental improvements.

The Best Connection is recruiting for a

Waste & Resource Recovery Supervisor to join a leading food manufacturing and sustainability-focused business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with waste management, recycling, production, or logistics experience who is passionate about environmental compliance and continuous improvement.

The Role

You will be responsible for monitoring and improving waste segregation across the site, ensuring waste streams remain compliant, contamination is minimised, and recycling opportunities are maximised.

Working closely with production, engineering, hygiene, yard, and contractor teams, you'll help drive best practices in waste management while supporting the site's sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor waste streams and conduct regular waste inspections.
