Northumberland County Council's Neighbourhood Services seeks a Refuse Loader to support a safe, efficient waste and recycling service across the community. You will work as part of a team, collect general waste and recycling to schedule, and help maintain street cleanliness and public health.

This permanent, full-time role operates on a 4-day working week and is due to commence February 2027. You should be hardworking, physically fit, and punctual, with the ability to handle bins and operate

Qualificações

• Be hardworking, physically fit and healthy.
• Have the strength, dexterity and co-ordination to manoeuvre bins and operate hydraulics and the specialist skills associated with the operation of hydraulic equipment.
• A Willingness to go the extra mile whilst on your rounds and hold plenty of enthusiasm and a big smile
• Be a team player and be punctual

Responsabilidades

• Provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Northumberland.
• Ensure that general waste and recycling is collected as per schedule and streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.
