Adversa Recruitment Limited is seeking a Waste & Recycling Driver to join a busy waste management team in Powys. The role involves safe collection of household waste and recycling, contributing to high service standards for the local area.

This 37-hour-per-week role offers an ASAP start on an initial 3-month rolling contract. A full, valid UK driving licence and willingness to work outdoors are essential.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence for the vehicle type
• Experience in waste collection or driving is desirable
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Drive waste and recycling collection vehicles safely along designated routes
• Assist with collection and transportation of household waste and recycling
• Work with waste collection operatives to complete collections on schedule
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects
• Follow health and safety procedures including manual handling and waste disposal
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents and the public
• Support the wider team with operational duties as required
