Job summary

Veolia UK is hiring for a full-time role in Mansfield, with a 42.25-hour week and a rotating 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm schedule. The role features a salary around £30,120.88 plus Veolia benefits and a comprehensive set of health, volunteering, and development perks.

The successful candidate will operate mobile plant and Baler equipment, maintain MRF plant efficiency, and ensure throughput and quality targets while following safety and business processes. A valid remote work policy is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Yellow plant licences including Loading shovel, Telehandlers and 360.
• Experience in waste treatment facilities is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant and baler.
• Maintain efficient operation of MRF plant equipment and perform checks.
• Liaise with facilities supervisor to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure timely material processing to maximise throughput.
• Adhere to tipping/loading turnaround times for vehicles.
• Inspect input materials and report non-conforming loads.
• Inspect output materials to meet customer specifications.
• Keep the facility clean and report spills promptly.
• Follow the Business Management System and assist other parts of the operation as needed.
• Complete related documentation accurately and on time.
