Job summary

Black Point Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a waste operative to collect domestic and commercial waste and recycling. You will load bins onto collection vehicles and work as part of a team to complete daily routes efficiently.

The role requires reliability, punctuality and a hardworking attitude. You will be working outdoors, in all weather conditions, with early-morning starts and the potential for weekend work. Local proximity to your area is ideal.

Job description

Key responsibilities include:

• Collecting domestic and commercial waste and recycling
• Loading bins and refuse onto collection vehicles
• Working as part of a team to complete daily routes efficiently
• Following all health & safety procedures and guidelines
• Maintaining a high standard of work and reliability
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

Pay & Benefits:

• £12.71 per hour (standard rate)
• £14.24 per hour (including holiday pay)
• Weekly pay
• Ongoing, consistent work
• Friendly and supportive team environment

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 start – approx. 15:00 finish
• Minimum 8hours paid per shift
• Optional weekend work available (paid for hours worked)
