Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is seeking a reliable Loader to work alongside a Refuse Collection Vehicle Driver in a physically demanding outdoor role. You will join a two-person team to collect and load wheelie bins into the refuse vehicle.

The position operates on a 4-on / 4-off shift pattern, 7:00am–6:00pm (42 hours per week). No driving is required and full training will be provided.

• Work alongside the RCV driver during daily refuse collections.
• Get out of the vehicle and collect wheelie bins from properties.
• Attach bins safely to the vehicle's lifting mechanism.
• Operate the bin-lifting equipment to empty bins into the vehicle.
• Return bins safely to their original position.
• Keep collection areas safe and tidy.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Maintain a professional, reliable and positive approach throughout the shift.

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Loader to work alongside a Refuse Collection Vehicle Driver.

The Role will involve working as part of a two-person team, collecting wheelie bins and safely loading them onto the refuse collection vehicle.

Role: Loader

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Shifts: 4 days on / 4 days off

Hours: 7:00am – 6:00pm - 42 hours per week

Type: Temporary

• Good awareness of health and safety.
• Previous refuse collection or waste industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Full training can be provided.
