Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking Waste Operatives for sites in Ripon (HG4 1TT) and Sowerby (YO88AG). The role is outdoor, rota-based, with weekend work and full briefing provided. Own transport is recommended.

Typical duties include helping residents unload waste, directing them to correct bins, and operating online systems on site. PPE is supplied where required, and you will work across multiple sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Good customer service skills and polite, professional manners.
• Confident speaking to members of the public.
• IT literate and comfortable using handheld devices.
• Reliable punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Able to work outdoors and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Helping residents with unloading their vehicles of waste and disposing of items in the correct waste and recycle bins.
• Direct residents to the correct Waste bins and recycling areas.
• Working outdoors in all weathers.
• Conducting the collection of full skips.
• Using online systems on site.
• Separating materials into allocated bins.
• Public facing, greet residents as they arrive.
• Help keep traffic moving safely and smoothly.

We are recruiting for Waste Operatives for our client based in Ripon HG4 1TT & Sowerby YO88AG

OWN TRANSPORT IS RECOMMENDED

Please see below the Hours, pay and Key duties.

Hours;

• Monday- Sunday
• 8am-5pm - Summer
• 8am-4pm- Winter

Pay;

• Temp-Perm

This is rota based - Includes weekends.

All sites are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - you will be required to work these days. Your shifts will be discussed on induction.
