Job summary

Panda is seeking a commercially minded Business Analyst to turn operational data into insights that drive decisions across waste management operations. You will extract data from internal systems, analyse performance, and present findings in a clear way for non-technical stakeholders.

This hands-on role connects analysis to real operational and commercial outcomes, supporting growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar data-focused role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, large datasets).
Experience using Power BI or similar BI/reporting platform.
Ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audience.
Organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to prioritise requests in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative approach and continuous improvement mindset.
Commercial awareness and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Extract, consolidate and analyse data from internal systems.
Identify trends, patterns and performance issues in large datasets.
Translate complex information into clear reports for non-technical stakeholders.
Understand reporting needs by working with managers and operations teams.
Provide analysis to support operational, financial and strategic decisions.
Create a complete view of business performance by combining data from multiple systems.
Respond to ad hoc data requests with evidence-based answers.
Highlight areas to improve performance, efficiency, or service delivery.
Contribute to ongoing development of reporting and analytics capabilities.
