Waste Management Operative - Rotherham

Rate: £12.65ph PAYE

Reference: 000A 03DA / 1

Job Responsibilities:

1. Carry out environmental cleansing, horticultural, and grounds maintenance work, including emptying bins, litter removal, weed control, waste disposal, winter salting, chemical control, verge upkeep, and sports pitch maintenance.
2. Operate, secure, and check powered tools and equipment, reporting defects and maintenance issues.
3. Ensure the security of vehicles, buildings, and resources, including vehicle checks.
4. Provide directions and assistance to the public.
5. Report accidents, property damage, street defects, and assist with enviro-crime enforcement.
6. Assist with campaigns, events, and initiatives.
7. Supervise trainees, seasonal employees, or volunteers.
8. Complete record sheets and forms daily and weekly.
9. Follow safe systems of work and health and safety policies.
10. Perform all tasks within specified timescales and standards.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
