Job summary

Veolia in Gerrards Cross is seeking a Class 2 driver to join our waste management fleet. The role requires 48 hours per week, early starts between 02:00 and 04:00, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work, and a salary of £44,744.15 per year plus benefits.

You will drive to planned collection locations, load and unload bins of various sizes, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure paperwork is completed and data entered correctly.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence is required.
• CPC and Digi/tachograph card must be up to date.
• Digi / Tachograph Card must be valid.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move and empty waste containers.
• Record data in the onboard system and complete daily paperwork.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and comply with traffic laws and regulations.
• Ensure carriageway is kept clean and spills are cleaned up.
