Triumph Consultants are recruiting a Waste & Fleet Training Officer in Rugby for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on building and maintaining a training and competency matrix and ensuring all operational staff stay up to date with required training.

Office-based in Rugby, 37 hours a week, with flexible hours from 08:00 to 16:00. Ideal candidates have an HGV class 2 licence, experience in waste operations, and a background in training or as a driver.

Qualifikationen

• Experience building and maintaining training matrices and competency records.
• Driving/ fleet operations experience within waste or related service sectors.
• Knowledge of DVSA guidance and Operator License compliance.
• Excellent coaching, communication and influencing skills.

Aufgaben

• Oversee operational training and competency assurance across Waste Services and frontline staff.
• Build and maintain a single training/competency matrix and ensure datasets are up to date.
• Provide hands-on coaching to drivers; spend time on yard and road with crews.
