Qualifications

• Strong understanding of waste legislation and environmental regulations.
• Demonstrable experience managing compliance documentation and records with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with databases and management information systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records for hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams in compliance with current legislation.
• Coordinate waste documentation including consignment notes, permits, and duty of care records; monitor expiry dates.
• Conduct compliance inspections of waste storage areas and support internal audits and external reviews.
• Analyse data within waste management systems and produce regular reports on performance, recycling rates, and key indicators.
• Lead investigations into waste-related incidents and drive improvements with cross-functional teams.
