Job summary

Buckinghamshire Council is recruiting for an Advanced Business Administration Apprenticeship in the Waste Contracts Team in Aylesbury. The role focuses on day-to-day management of key waste contracts, data recording, and site inspections across multiple facilities.

You will study for a Level 3 apprenticeship during the program, with time allocated during the week for study. The role involves travel to Household Recycling Centres, a waste complex, and other contract points.

Qualifications

• Organisational skills to plan and prioritise tasks.
• Good IT skills including database familiarity.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Attention to detail in data entry and reporting.
• Ability to work independently with guidance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Site inspections across assigned waste sites.
• Record and report waste data using the council systems.
• Travel to multiple waste facilities as part of contracts management.
• Support procurement and delivery of waste service contracts.
• Assist with campaigns and communications relating to waste programs.
