Job summary

Runnymede Borough Council is seeking a Waste Collection Loader to join the local waste management team. You will be part of the crew handling household and business waste collections, following schedules, and ensuring safety with full PPE provided.

Responsibilities

• Undertake household and business waste collections as part of the crew.
• Follow round sheets/in cab data with focus on assisted collections.
• Wear full PPE and work in a safe, compliant manner.
• Return containers to presentation point and ensure no obstruction.
• Clear waste spilled during collections and keep area clean.

Job description

This an exciting opportunity to join Runnymede Borough Council as a Waste Collection Loader as we continue our positive work in the community keeping our streets clean. As the Waste Collection Loader, you will:

• Part of the waste collection crew undertaking household and business waste collections
• Follow all round sheets/in cab data with particular attention to assisted collections
• Work in a safe and compliant manner including wearing full PPE provided
• Clear waste presented leaving the area clean and tide.
• Return containers to point of presentation making sure they do not cause an obstruction
• Clear any waste spilled during collections keeping the area clean and free from waste
