Job summary

Veolia in Norfolk is seeking a Waste Collection Operative to support our local community. You will empty bins and collect waste from residential properties, assist drivers with vehicle manoeuvres, and ensure streets are left clean and tidy after every collection.

The role offers the chance to represent Veolia and deliver outstanding service to clients within a supportive team. A strong team ethic and initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Emptying bins or collecting bags from premises.
• Collecting waste as directed from residential properties.
• Assisting the driver when manoeuvring the vehicle especially when reversing.
• Ensuring the road is left clean and tidy after collections including bins placed back on the boundary and all spillages cleared.
• Acting as an ambassador for Veolia, ensuring that the client receives excellent service.
