Job summary

Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd are recruiting Waste Collection Operatives just outside Norwich. This is a hands-on role collecting domestic general waste, recycling and garden waste, working to a strict daily schedule. You will work as part of a team with full training provided.

A full driving licence is desirable but not essential; reliability and a positive work ethic are essential. Hours are 06:00-16:00, 4-5 days per week (Tuesday-Friday, with Saturdays when required), outdoors in all

Responsibilities

• Collecting domestic general waste, recycling and garden waste.
• Loading and unloading waste bins throughout the day.
• Working as part of a team to complete daily collection routes.
• Carrying out regular manual handling and lifting duties.
• Working efficiently to meet daily schedules and collection targets.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintaining a professional approach when working in the community.
• Supporting other team members to ensure collections are completed efficiently.
