Job Title: Waste Cleaner (Night Shift)
Location: Knaresborough
Salary: £14.36 per hour (Equivalent to £28,000 per annum)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm (Initial 3-month contract with potential for permanent role)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
The role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Industrial Cleaner to join our team on a night shift basis at our Mechanical Treatment Facility. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of our plant.
Working as part of a dedicated cleaning and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all site equipment is thoroughly cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. Equipment includes, but is not limited to:
The environment can be challenging at times, with exposure to mixed general waste. As such, the role involves a significant level of physical activity, including manual handling and working at height.
Full training will be provided both on-site and externally where necessary, including working at heights and equipment safety procedures.
